RTO 9's role is to be as inclusive and as balanced as possible regarding the destinations in the region, as well as the key activities and events that drive visitation to our region. We seek to showcase the region as a destination, and by extension, drive consumer engagement and interest to each community or activity. But our voice cannot be obtained without your feedback as a tourism partner. We encourage you to share as much as you can about your destination or operation and this in turn, will provide us with the tools we need to best represent the unique and wonderful offerings we have here in South Eastern Ontario.
Goals for 2018 Consumer Marketing
2018 is a year in which RTO 9 focuses on you as a DMO or tourism operator. Through our campaign strategies, branded experience programs,destination support, social media, email marketing, TripAdvisor PDP initiative and more, we’re looking forward to continue to work with our destinations and businesses to share marketing assets and generate a strong cohesive voice. Other priorities include:
• Creation and execution of a PR, influencer and earned media strategy
• In the spirit of “Do The Things You Love”, our marketing and content efforts will strive to utilize more “lived out” experiences through social, photos and blogging efforts
We look forward to a continued partnership with our regional partners and would be pleased to discuss new opportunities as they arise.
